FRAXEL DUAL LASER
Renew your skin’s natural glow with one of the most advanced rejuvenation treatments available.
At Tahoe Injectables Medical Spa, we offer the Fraxel Dual Laser to safely and effectively refresh your skin from the inside out without surgery or extended downtime. This non-invasive laser targets both the surface and deeper layers of the skin to improve tone, texture, and radiance—revealing a smoother, more youthful complexion with minimal downtime.
Benefits of Fraxel Dual
Fraxel Dual helps stimulate your body’s natural collagen production, leading to long-term skin tightening and rejuvenation. Over time, you’ll notice brighter, firmer, and more even skin that continues to improve for months after your treatment.
Fraxel Dual is a powerful, collagen-stimulating treatment designed to address:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage and pigmentation
- Acne scars and other textural concerns
- Dull or uneven skin tone
By promoting new collagen and elastin production, Fraxel helps your skin look naturally firmer, brighter, and more refined over time.
What to Expect During Treatment
Before the procedure, a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. The laser works by creating precise micro-injuries in the skin, which trigger the body’s natural healing process. These controlled treatments replace old, damaged cells with fresh, healthy skin—without harming surrounding tissue.
Most sessions take about 30–45 minutes, depending on the area being treated. You will be red and feel like you have a mild sunburn after the laser.
Recovery and Results
Following treatment, your skin may feel warm and appear pink or slightly swollen—similar to a mild sunburn. Over the next several days, you may notice light flaking as new skin cells emerge. Most patients are comfortable returning to daily activities within a few days and can wear makeup after 2–3 days.
As collagen rebuilds, results continue to improve over the next several months, revealing smoother texture, more even tone, and naturally refreshed skin.
Expect mild redness and swelling—similar to a light sunburn—for a few days. Most patients experience gentle flaking or bronzing as the old skin resurfaces. You can apply makeup after 2–3 days and return to normal activities within the week. As your skin heals, you’ll see gradual improvements that continue to develop over 3–6 months as collagen renews.
